Teams invited to participate in pond hockey tournament as part of Ice Fest in Breezy Point

You could call it a natural ice formation – adding a pond hockey tournament to an outdoor wintertime celebration – the Breezy Point Ice Fest!
Minnesota Showcase Hockey League has announced plans to add up to 100 teams as part of a pond hockey tournament in conjunction with Breezy Point Ice Fest. The tournament dates will be Jan. 7-9 and Feb. 4-6 at Breezy Point Resort on Pelican Lake.
There will be seven divisions – Men’s Gold, Men’s Silver, Men’s Bronze, Men’s 40 and older, Men’s 50 and older, Women’s Gold and Women’s Silver. Teams may have four to eight players. Cost is $600 per team to participate.

Breezy Point Ice Fest, hosted by the Brainerd Lakes Chamber, is a Breezy Point tradition, which includes more than hockey! Other components include daily bonfires, fireworks, food and beverage tents, entertainment, horse-drawn sleigh rides, children’s activities, power ice auger competition and much more!
